A video capturing a Perodua Myvi passing through a tollbooth without paying has gone viral after it was posted yesterday, 3 November
Based on the 35-second dashcam video, the incident is believed to have happened at the Subang toll plaza, entering the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) at 10.07am yesterday.
A black Myvi bearing a Selangor number plate was seen driving into the tollbooth on the left side of the highway, a lane which is usually used by large lorries.
The tollbooth is also an unmanned Touch N' Go lane.
Instead of winding down the window to make the payment, the Myvi steered to the left and slipped past the boom gate, which is not long enough to block out the whole path
"Myvi is undoubtedly a god's car... There is nothing it can't do," the caption of the video read.
The post has since gone viral with over 1,300 shares at the time of writing.
After watching the video, many netizens jumped into the comment section to comment about the incredible feat pulled off by the Myvi
"I'm not kidding, once you get into a Myvi, it is as if god takes over your body," one netizen said in jest.
Another netizen cheered, "Myvi boleh!"
"Free toll only for Myvi drivers," one netizen added.
However, some netizens also criticised the Myvi driver's action
"Saved a couple of bucks, but you lost your respect," a netizen chastised.
"Just because you wanted to save a few ringgit, you will end up paying hundreds in summons," another netizen warned.
Last month, a luxury car went viral after it was caught tailgating the car in front to avoid paying the toll:
