Water Tanker Rams Into 8 Cars At Bangi Petrol Station After Driver Left The Handbrake Down
The incident has left a person in critical condition.
A water tanker rammed into eight cars at a petrol station in Bangi last night, 13 February
Sin Chew Daily reported that the incident happened in Section 15 of Bandar Baru Bangi at around 9pm last night.
At the time of the incident, the driver-less water tanker moved for 500 metres before it was stopped.
The incident happened after the driver of the water tanker left the engine running and its handbrake down at the petrol station
The truck was eventually stopped after the driver jumped into it to pull the handbrake.
Eight cars, including a Perodua Bezza and Perodua Myvi, were destroyed by the water tanker.
According to Bulletin TV3, the driver initially thought his truck was being stolen when he saw it moving.
A woman, who was in the driver's seat of the Perodua Myvi, is currently in critical condition
Harian Metro reported that the woman, who is in her 20s, was in the parked Myvi when the incident happened.
All victims have lodged police reports at Kajang District Police Headquarters regarding the incident.
