The widow of a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash along Jalan Raya Barat, Klang is planning to file a civil lawsuit against the driver charged with her husband's murder
Nor Nadia Abdul Majid, 32, said she is grateful that the suspect has been charged, but hopes that further justice will follow.
According to the New Straits Times, her lawyer, Mohd Faizi Che Abu, said the final amount for the lawsuit yet to be determined but could reach RM1 million, depending on legal calculations.
He explained the sum will be calculated based on factors such as the late Amirul Hafiz Omar's salary, age, number of dependents, and other multipliers.
"I will discuss this further with my client, but the amount must be determined based on legal principles and precedents from previous cases," he said.

Their comments come after R Saktygaanapathy, 28, was charged at the Klang Magistrate's Court with murder yesterday, 1 April
He is accused of murdering Amirul following the fatal crash at 11.47am on 29 March.
Now the sole provider for her family, Nor Nadia, who works part-time as a parcel delivery rider, said she has relocated with her three children — Muhammad Aqif Amsyar, 9; Muhammad Afif Izz Rayqal, 7; and Nur Humaira, 2 — from Shah Alam to Taiping, Perak.
"It was my late husband's wish that if anything happened, I would move back to my kampung, since we don't have many family members here.
"I have more family in Taiping who can help care for my three children when I am busy," she told the New Straits Times.
Nor Nadia added that her children deeply miss their father, sharing that they have been sleeping with his clothes to feel close to him.
