A neighbour claimed she initially thought that a bamboo pole had fallen to the ground when she heard a loud thud outside her window

However, when she looked out, she was surprised to see the old man lying face down on the ground next to some clothes and the bamboo pole before asking her grandchildren to immediately contact the police.

Paramedics found the old man motionless and pronounced him dead at the scene while police has since classified the case as unnatural death.
