On Saturday evening, 25 February, at a hotel room in Sibolga, a coastal city in North Sumatra province, Indonesia, a woman chopped off a man's penis after he threatened her with leaking their sex video

The man, identified as 28-year-old GO, had checked in to the hotel with the woman, identified as 28-year-old AST.

According to Sibolga police chief AKBP Taryono Raharja, the man demanded to have sex with the woman, who kept turning him down as she was upset with something he said earlier.

Taryono told Pikiran Rakyat that the duo are cheating partners, as they both are married to other people.

"They are not husband and wife. They promised to meet in Padangsidimpuan to go to Sibolga together," he said, adding that after they arrived at the hotel, GO tried to get intimate with AST, but she refused.

Feeling disappointed, he then threatened her with spreading their sex video that he had made previously. This angered the woman further and she grabbed his knife and chopped off the man's penis.

The receptionist then called the police. A team was immediately dispatched to the location, where they found the man lying on a bed, with the floor covered in his blood, and the woman in the same room.

While the man was rushed to a hospital, the woman was arrested.

She has yet to be charged as the police are waiting to interview the man.

The man is currently receiving treatment at RS Metta Medika, a general hospital in Sibolga.
