Woman Alleges She Was Slapped By A Stranger At Maluri MRT Station
Prasarana has since assured her that security measures in the area have been strengthened.
A woman recently recounted a startling incident she encountered while waiting at the Maluri MRT station
In a TikTok video, Tiffany shared that she was unexpectedly slapped by a stranger, leaving her stunned and bewildered.
She recounted that while standing at the station, an unfamiliar woman suddenly approached her.
Without warning, the woman struck Tiffany on her left ear and quickly walked away, leaving her no time to react.
Tiffany suspects the woman may be mentally unwell based on her behaviour and noted that she only managed to capture a photo of the woman from behind as she walked away.
Following the incident, Prasarana, the operator of the MRT network, contacted Tiffany to inform her that additional security measures have been implemented at the Maluri MRT station to help prevent similar occurrences in the future
Tiffany's story has since gone viral, prompting others to share their own unsettling encounters, not only at the Maluri MRT station but at other train stations as well.
One person remarked that the woman who struck her clearly has mental health issues and emphasised the need for better infrastructure in our country to support individuals like her, benefitting everyone in the process.
Asking for help is not a sign of weakness.
