You Can Get 2 Years' Jail If You Attend Social Gatherings Amidst Restricted Movement Order
A repeated offence can get you up to five years' imprisonment.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed that anyone found outside their home and at a social gathering during the restricted movement order can be jailed up to two years
In a Telegram message, the MOH announced that anyone who attends wedding ceremonies in the coming two weeks will breach the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 and Police Act 1967.
"Many have asked if the public can attend wedding ceremonies, funerals, and so on," the MOH said.
"The answer is NOT allowed. Because it is a social gathering."
The ministry said the restriction is in accordance with Section 11(4) and Section 24(a) of Act 342
Since the whole of Malaysia has been declared as an infected area amidst the COVID-19 outbreak, the Act states that if the authorities require usage of force to make anyone comply with treatment, isolation, or other measures, they will face a penalty up to two years' imprisonment, a fine, or both.
If the offence is repeated, the defendant will be jailed up to five years, slapped with a fine, or both.
The MOH urged the public to share the message with others so that no one will be found at the wrong side of the law
