Zahid Promises Free Laptops For M40 Students If BN Wins #GE15
BN candidate for the Sungai Besar parliamentary seat, Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos, explained that the move is because BN had received requests for free laptops from students and teachers.
Barisan National (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has promised students and teachers under the M40 income group free laptops if the coalition wins the 15th General Election (GE15)
According to Bernama, Zahid was quoted as saying that the free laptops will be provided to M40 teachers and students to enhance their education.
"This was the input from voters that BN heard," said the BN chairman.
He made the announcement yesterday, 8 November, at a 'Budi Disanjung' programme in Sungai Panjang, Selangor.

The promise is also in line with the coalition's GE15 manifesto themed 'Perancangan Amal dan Usaha (PADU)', which promises Malaysians 99 "goodies" and the ability to steer Malaysia towards becoming a developed country.
Meanwhile, BN has also promised in its GE15 manifesto that all households will have a basic monthly income of RM2,208
According to CNA, the manifesto set a huge priority on the issues of high cost of living, free public education, and racial inclusivity, with BN promoting itself as a "new and fresh bargain" available to all Malaysians.
"The plan comprises 99 BN benevolent efforts as a guide to steer the nation," Zahid said during a digital launch of the manifesto on Monday night, 7 November.
Along with promising free higher education for the B40 group, he also pledged free early childhood care and education for all kids under the age of six.
"BN will implement a textbook-free schooling system. Thus, BN's two major measures in this area include providing free laptops to all B40 students and assuring 100% 5G Internet coverage in all schools within 18 months," he added.
