Zayn Rayyan's Mum Brought Home To Reenact The Circumstances Of Her Son's Death
Police officers were also seen carrying a mannequin of a child.
Earlier today, 10 June, police brought the mother of murdered six-year-old Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin to her residence in Damansara Damai
According to Harian Metro, the police want the mother to reenact the tragic incident.
The Malay daily reported that according to journalists at the scene, the suspect, aged 28, was brought home at around 10.15am in a white van heading towards Block R of the residence.
It is understood that she will be taken to the location where the autistic child was found dead — a riverbank about 200 metres from the block where the family lived, to reenact the 6 December incident.
Police officers were also seen carrying a mannequin of a child.
The latest development in the case comes after police extended the two parents' remand for another six days last Friday, 7 June
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan told the media that inconsistencies in the statements provided by Zayn Rayyan's parents were among the reasons that led to the extension of the couple's remand.
"There are inconsistent matters that need to be resolved. That is why we need another six days for further investigation and to resolve any discrepancies until we are satisfied with the results," he said.
