Harian Metro Launches New Award To Recognise The Achievements Of Malaysian Athletes

On 2 November, the Anugerah Sukan Ikon Harian Metro (AIS) was officially launched
Scheduled to take place in January 2023, this inaugural award aims to recognise the achievements of local athletes and sports administrators. The Malaysian public will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite sports icons, and stand the chance of winning some amazing prizes.
The AIS launch ceremony and press conference was attended by Deputy Group Managing Director, Media Prima Berhad and Chief Executive Officer, Media Prima Omnia, Datuk Michael Chan; Editor of the Harian Metro Group and Chairman of the AIS Committee, Husain Jahit; Ena Suhaila Abas, Marketing Manager of Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd. Also in attendance were several national athletes.
