Malaysia's Aladdin Group Is Now A Global Partner Of Manchester United
The e-commerce group will help the Red Devils to generate brand awareness and compelling engagement projects via digital platforms.
EPL football team Manchester United has announced a partnership with Malaysian-based e-commerce company, Aladdin Group
According to a statement on the team's website, Aladdin Group will generate brand awareness and compelling engagement projects with the club’s 659 million global followers, via the club’s digital platforms as well as one-to-one fan events and campaigns worldwide.
The company - which focuses on providing halal-compliant services and products - would first kickstart the project by introducing more products from Malaysia and Singapore
"As a vibrant, up-and-coming young company, Aladdin Street is at the forefront of the industry, providing consumers with the ability to purchase quality, premium and compliant goods from reputable merchants who have been invited to sell on the site," Richard Arnold, Manchester United’s group managing director, commented on the partnership.

Aladdin aims to provide its consumers with products that comply with the Halalan Toyyiban concept. “Halalan Toyyiban” means allowed and permissible for consumption with relation to Syariah law as long as they are safe and not harmful
One of its founders is Malaysian astronaut Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, who said the company wants to compete with the likes of Amazon and Alibaba.
