The Singapore Tennis Open is returning from 21 to 27 September 2026 at the OCBC Arena in The Kallang, and this year, it's bigger than ever

Now elevated to a prestigious Women's Tennis Association (WTA) 500 tournament, the event will welcome some of the world's top female players to Singapore for seven days of elite competition.

Following its successful run as a WTA 250 tournament last year, this year's edition will offer players significantly more ranking points as well as a larger prize pool, making the tournament an attractive stop for many of the world's top players.

The upgrade also makes the Singapore Tennis Open the only WTA 500 tournament in Southeast Asia and one of just 18 such events worldwide.

The rising Filipino star, who recently made headlines for her impressive Wimbledon campaign, is set to make an appearance at the 2026 Singapore Tennis Open.

The 21-year-old stunned defending champion Iga Swiatek in the Round of 32 before eventually bowing out to Italy's Jasmine Paolini in the Round of 16. She is currently World No. 32, making her the highest-ranked Filipino player in WTA history.

Special ticket prices are also available for youths (18 and below), seniors (60 and above), Singapore national servicemen (NSF), and persons with disabilities (PWD).

According to the website, visitors can also enjoy free admission to watch earlier qualifying matches on 19 and 20 September.
