Malaysian Tech YouTuber Reveals Why You Should Or Shouldn't Get The HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro
HUAWEI's Mate 30 Pro is one of the most exciting releases of 2019, but naturally you'll have to think carefully if you're considering to get it as a new phone
You've gotta factor in a lot of things, like its cost and how well the phone suits your lifestyle. It can be pretty difficult to come to a final decision.
Thankfully, Malaysian tech YouTuber Adam Lobo can help you decide whether or not the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro is right for you
You can watch the super-informative video below:
1. Aesthetically-pleasing design and insane build quality
With the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro's primary camera setup, it wouldn't be surprising for people to actually mistake the phone for a slick-looking digital camera. Especially with the halo design language, from far away it looks like one giant lens!
But those who know, know. :D
2. The Horizon Display is beautifully-immersive
With no physical volume controls, one might wonder how the heck we're supposed to blast that awesome song you've been jamming to. Easy, just double tap the edge of the Horizon Display.
3. Breathtaking video capabilities make it a breeze to shoot with
Featuring the Leica-engineered SuperSensing Cine Camera, the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro can shoot beautiful lowlight footage with incredible stability.
Plus, you can even shoot super slow motion video at 7,680 frames per second. That's INSANE.
4. Ultra-long battery life gets you going the entire day, and possibly through the night as well
The HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro packs a beefy 4,500 mAh battery. That's more than enough to get rid of battery-anxiety, and in fact, Adam even managed to get through an entire day AND night without having to charge the phone. The supercharging capability of the phone allows users to get up to a 70% charge in just 30 minutes. That's quick.
Another bonus is the phone's wireless charging capability, which also includes reverse wireless charging, for the times you need to charge other devices.
5. Multi-screen connectivity and collaboration makes sure you're always on top of your game, no matter what
Being able to work on some important documents on-the-go with the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro and then being able to seamlessly continue that work on a laptop such as the MateBook 13 is a DREAM. With smooth drag-and-drop functionality, your laptop essentially becomes an extension of your phone too!
Awesome stuff! Though there might be a couple of reasons against getting one, there are still simple workarounds to get just what you need with the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro:
1. You can't get Netflix on your phone, but at least you can still watch it on your television :)
Adam doesn't mind this so much since he prefers to watch Netflix on his television anyway. But for those who like to watch Netflix movies and shows on their mobile phones, sorry. :(
2. You don't have Google Play Services pre-installed on the phone, but you can use third party apps to get it
Though not having pre-installed Google Play Services may be a bummer to some, it's not the end of the world! In fact, Adam managed to figure out a way to get fully-functioning Google Play Services on his HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro. It just requires a little bit of elbow grease, but it's totally worth it!
The HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro (8GB/256GB) retails for RM3,899. The Mate 30 (8GB/128GB), on the other hand, retails for RM2,799!
It's the perfect companion for insane video shooting capabilities and seamless cross-platform integration, especially useful for content creators like Adam Lobo. What about you? :)
