Adobe Showcases Cool Sequin Dress That Can Change Patterns In The Blink Of An Eye

Adobe recently unveiled an interactive dress during its Adobe MAX 2023 conference in Los Angeles
During the three-day event, Adobe showcased an inventive project that caught everyone's attention — a dress that can change patterns in the blink of an eye.
Part of Project Primrose, the dress is designed with flexible textile displays, which allow an entire surface to display content created on Adobe Firefly, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Stock, and Adobe Illustrator. In the demonstration, the dress changes patterns and shows animations in real-time with the press of a button.
Aside from that, the patterns on the dress can also be programmed to change according to your body movements
While this technology is still in development, you can already imagine the applications of it in various industries
For instance, in the future, you may be able to design your own outfit, or even download and wear outfits from your favourite designers. This technology could also be used on surfaces like clothing, furniture, and more, providing designers endless possibilities in terms of style.
