Apple has revealed plans to integrate AI technologies into its upcoming iOS 18
According to Bloomberg, the tech giant has resumed discussions with OpenAI to explore a potential partnership to enhance on-device chatbot capabilities.
Talks between Apple and OpenAI began earlier this year, and with the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) set to focus heavily on AI, the discussions have now resumed.
Apple users can expect some AI-related updates when WWDC takes place in June this year.

Apple is also working hard to bring Gemini to its devices while enhancing Siri's AI capabilities.
Mashable reported that the tech giant is working on a model aimed at surpassing ChatGPT in comprehending on-screen and background content on devices, as well as improving conversational understanding.
Unlike current cloud-based large language models, this upgrade would operate on the device itself, reducing the need for external computing power.
All this speculation certainly makes the upcoming WWDC an exciting affair.
