Apple Could Be Releasing New 'AirPods Lite' In 2024 For As Low As RM428
Slightly budget-friendly AirPods.
A cheaper, lite version of the Apple AirPods may be on the horizon, according to reports from long-time Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo
Kuo, an analyst at investment management firm TF International Securities, has been reporting on Apple news for over 10 years — he is a well-trusted source and regularly shares his observations and predictions of tech industry trends.
Recently, he tweeted that Apple could be producing the AirPods Lite in the second half of 2024 for USD99 (RM428), along with an upgraded version of the Airpods Max.The new price point could be an indicator signalling Apple's desire to break into the mid-range to affordable wireless earbuds market
This move is similar to what HUAWEI did when they released their HUAWEI Freebuds SE (RM189) as an alternative to their more premium product, the HUAWEI Freebuds Pro 2 (RM849).
Malaysians who are familiar with Apple know how expensive their products can get
In fact, we even did a comparison of the things you can buy for the price of an iPhone 14 Pro. :P
Hopefully, we'll soon have a cheaper alternative, and can own a pair of AirPods without breaking the bank.
