GXBank has started rolling out its first debit card to Malaysian users

GXBank, a new digital bank in Malaysia, recently launched the new debit card in collaboration with Mastercard.

Users will be able to apply for the card through the GXBank app

The bank is gradually rolling out the card to users in batches. They will be able to see a 'Get your GX Card' option on their home screen to sign up.

Those who sign up will then receive both a physical and virtual card after applying.

The GX Card's most interesting perk is its unlimited 1% cashback on every transaction

This means that for every RM100 a user spends, they will get RM1 in cashback.

However, this does not apply to certain transactions, such as cash withdrawals, e-wallet top-ups, insurance payments, government-related payments, charity donations, gambling, and quasi-cash merchant transactions. It's important to note that no cashback is provided for void transactions and refunds.

GXBank is waiving the card application fee until 31 December 2024

There is no annual fee for the debit card. However, users still need to pay RM12 for a physical card.
