Clips of HONOR's new AI-powered eye-tracking feature recently surfaced online, where a user demonstrated moving a car just by looking at his phone screen.

According to HONOR, this feature is not a gimmick, but a glimpse into a future where human-machine interaction becomes almost intuitive, without the need for physical contact.

Sounds interesting? You'll be able to get more clarity on this innovation at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 happening this Sunday.

In fact, HONOR will be unveiling its latest groundbreaking AI innovation during the global launch of the HONOR Magic6 Series at the event.

HONOR mentioned that this technology is still in the experiment phase, and details of the feature are still under wraps.

HONOR also recently partnered with automotive engineer Professor James Brighton to demonstrate the potential of this technology. Watch the video below:

In the video by Autocar, Brighton shows how he can use the all-new HONOR Magic6 Pro to perform four eye commands — start engine, turn off engine, move car forward, and move car backwards.

The feature works by fixating your gaze on a designated button for two-three seconds, the AI interprets your intent and transmits the command to the car wirelessly.

This technology could revolutionise the way we interact with our cars and make driving more convenient and safer

And this is just the start. HONOR thinks this technology can change everything, not just cars. Imagine if you could use your eyes to control your smart home!
