Meta's Edits app has rolled out a major update that makes it easier for iOS users to post Instagram Stories directly from the video editing app
Instead of saving a clip to your camera roll and opening Instagram manually, you can now share your edited video directly to Stories from your timeline.
This direct integration not only streamlines the posting process but also delivers better playback quality.

Here's how to share your videos from the Edits app to Instagram Stories
- 1. Update the Edits App: First, check the iOS App Store to make sure your Edits app is up to date. The direct "Share to Stories" feature was just introduced in version 441.0.
- 2. Finalise Your Project: Open your project in the Edits app and finish making your cuts, adding effects, or tweaking the audio.
- 3. Tap Export: Once you are happy with your video, head to the top of the screen. Name your project, confirm your resolution and frame rate settings, and tap the Export button.
- 4. Share to Stories: Thanks to the new update, you will now see an option in the export menu to share straight to your Instagram Stories. Tap it, and the app will seamlessly prepare and send your video directly to your Instagram Story editor, where you can post it.
The app's Audio Tools have also been revamped to make sound management incredibly efficient
Voiceovers, fades, and volume controls are now consolidated into one tidy control centre.
Hunting for the perfect background track is also less frustrating with the new Filter Audio Searches feature. You can instantly sort soundtracks by specific moods, like a relaxing vibe, to match your aesthetic.
Visually, creators will love the new Adjustment Layer for Effect, which lets you apply a single visual tweak across your entire timeline
This ensures every single clip receives the exact same touch, creating a beautifully uniform image.
Just remember to update your application to guarantee all these tools run smoothly for your next mobile project.
