Just moments after tweeting out his thoughts on the World Cup finals between Argentina and France, Musk tweeted that any policy changes involving Twitter will go through a vote in the future, but that's not all.

This could be because Twitter recently made an announcement stating the ban of accounts created solely for promoting other social platforms

However, this new policy change has since been taken down from their Help Center page after garnering many criticisms from Twitter users.

The tech CEO went on to do a poll asking his followers whether he should step down as head of Twitter

According to the tweet, it appears that Musk will be stepping down from his job if the majority wants him out.

As the time of writing, the poll results just released and it appears that the majority of users want Musk out

However, whether or not Musk will keep to his word, we'll just have to wait and see.
