A supercomputer from British Gambler recently crunched data from the FIFA World Cup 2026 and has come up with a set of predictions for the tournament
The simulation correctly predicted England would secure a thrilling 3-2 victory over co-hosts Mexico at the Azteca Stadium.
In the match, which was on 6 July, Jude Bellingham scored two goals and Harry Kane netted a penalty, setting up a Miami showdown against Norway on Sunday, 12 July, when England is predicted to win 1-0.
However, the supercomputer predicts that Thomas Tuchel's squad is will suffer a defeat at the hands of reigning champions, Argentina, if the two teams potentially meet in the upcoming semi-finals or the final, which concludes on 19 July.

Spain is predicted to comfortably defeat Tuchel's squad 2-0 in the 3rd and 4th place playoff, leaving the England squad empty-handed.
The supercomputer also reportedly predicted France beating Morocco 2-0 in their quarterfinals match. It has predicted Spain defeating Belgium 3-1, and Argentina edging past Switzerland 2-1.
France is predicted to head to the finals after beating Spain 3-2 in the semi-finals.
Lionel Messi is predicted to secure a 2-1 final victory on 19 July 2026 at the New York New Jersey Stadium.
