[VIDEO] Can You Guess How Many Calories We Burnt Doing Workouts In VR?
Looking for a fun way to exercise alone or in a group? :D
We recently got to try working out in virtual reality (VR) using the PICO 4 All-In-One VR Headset, woohoo!
Whether you're a fitness enthusiast or just wanna break a sweat, working out in VR is a great option worth considering.
With VR workout apps like FitXR, you can choose from all kinds of workouts, be it boxing, dancing, or high intensity interval training (HIIT). In fact, the app comes with five studios and offers more than 100 workout options. Plus, you won't have to worry about needing a big physical space — you can work out wherever you want to!
One of the cool things about using the PICO 4 All-In-One VR Headset and FitXR app was the multiplayer mode.
We could do our HIIT workout as a group and even see each other's movements in real-time, woah!
With the multiplayer mode, you don't even need to be in the same place. You can actually work out at the same time anywhere, as long as you have the VR headset and app.
All in all, the PICO 4 All-In-One VR Headset was super comfortable to use. It was lightweight, balanced, and skin-friendly, with face cushions that provided a tighter fit and extra comfort, so we could sweat it out without worrying about the headset falling off.
The headset is also small and easy to carry around, making it easy to have workout sessions individually or as a group wherever you want to. With a six degrees of freedom (6Dof) system and accurate tracking, the wireless VR headset allows you to exercise freely without restrictions.
After trying it out ourselves, incorporating the PICO 4 All-In-One VR Headset with FitXR virtual reality workouts is definitely a gamechanger for those looking for a fun way to stay fit. In fact, it's the perfect addition to your cardio and body weight workouts, adding an effective way to burn those calories.
Besides HIIT workouts, we got to try dance and boxing workouts within the FitXR app too, which were super fun and realistic
So... How many calories did we end up burning?
Raz: "Wow, Raf!"
Ashley: "Oh, my gosh. I burnt 170 calories!"
