Malaysian badminton mixed doubles players Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei have defied all odds and defeated China's world No. 2 pair in the Paris Olympics today, 29 July

Chen and Toh outplayed Feng Yan Zhe and Huang Dong Ping with scores of 17-21, 21-15, and 21-16 in an hour and five minutes.

Their latest victory secures their perfect score, making them the Group D champions after winning all three of their matches, reported Harian Metro.

Over the weekend, the world No. 9 duo defeated Singapore's Terry Hee and Jessica Tan and US' Vinson Chiu and Jennie Gai in straight sets.

Chen and Toh are now waiting for the quarter-final draw to find out who their opponents will be in the last eight, reported FMT.
