1st Malaysian To Sing At International COLORS Studio Set To Perform At Good Vibes Festival

No longer behind the bar for a while now, the 26-year-old indie-pop singer-songwriter has since fully jumped into doing music and video production, with her primary focus on releasing a new album soon!
From sharing the stage with SZA, Lorde, and The Neighbourhood at Good Vibes Festival 2018, the singer has taken things to the next level by becoming the first Malaysian on COLORS, a music platform that features artistes from all over the world, such as Billie Eilish and Daniel Caesar, in the form of minimalist music videos.
Speaking on her experience in a recent interview with SAYS, she shared that "it was surreal, to say the least"
"It was technically my first time performing outside of Malaysia, as they were based in Vietnam for the portion of the SEA series, and I could only process it properly once the video was uploaded, which meant I figuratively held my breath for almost two months (between the shoot and the video release)," she added.
"The team was super friendly and accommodating, especially since I had a case of the shingles and had to take my time with the recording."

Lunadira, who is set to also perform at Good Vibes Festival this year, makes her comeback with a slew of new songs from her debut album
"I'm straying a little away from R&B and more into collaborating with producers (Reddi Rocket, I-Sky, and Iven from Herbal Candy) and understanding how my writing lives and breathes in new spaces," she described, adding that she's definitely been exploring more with her songwriting and sound choices since we last spoke in 2018.
Emphasising on that, she revealed that the upcoming album she's working on "tackles the topic of anxiety in the search for self identity during the 'second puberty' aka your 20s".
"It might not be as light-hearted as my previous work but I hope that my listeners recognise the story within the album and be able to reflect on their own lives with it," she described.

Fans can look forward to her slew of singles and the new album wrapped in a metaphorical bow by the end of this year
Closing off the interview, Lunadira left SAYS readers with one message, "Don't mistake your vulnerability as a weakness. And I hope to see you guys at GVF 2023!"
