Coldplay Adds Yet Another Concert Date In Singapore While Malaysia Only Has 1 Date

Coldplay has added another concert date in Singapore, giving them a total of five performances in the island nation.
Meanwhile, the band's concert in Malaysia remains limited to a single show.
In a tweet at 4.01pm today, 19 June, the British rock band announced new concert dates in Southeast Asia for January and February 2024.
The announcement included an extra show in Singapore — 30 January 2024 at Singapore National Stadium. This is in addition to their earlier-announced shows in Singapore on 23, 24, 26, and 27 January 2024.
Based on the information on Coldplay's website, the additional date in Singapore has officially made our neighbour country with the most upcoming concert dates for the Music of the Spheres tour.
Milan (Italy), Gothenburg (Sweden), and Amsterdam (Netherlands) only have four concert dates each.

The additional date announcement comes before the general sale for the band's other Singapore concerts
The band added an extra date solely due to the overwhelming response during the presale.
Their tweet today read, "The presale for the Singapore shows on 23, 24, 26, and 27 January is now closed. Due to incredible demand, a fifth show at Singapore National Stadium has been added for 30 January.
"The general sale for all five shows begins at 10am local time tomorrow (June 20)."
Netizens who are presumably Malaysian fans could be seen expressing their frustration in replies to the post
"Kepala hotak dia," read a top reply in the post.
"Chris (Martin) loves Singapore a lot," wrote a netizen with a crying emoji.
"Asia tour? No. Singapore Tour? YES!" replied a netizen with emojis.

It has been almost a month since Para made the statement, but the band has yet to announce an extra date in Malaysia, despite local fans earnest pleas ever since our sole concert date on 22 November 2023 sold out within three hours of going on sale.
