MPO Presents 'Studio Ghibli' Concert This November That'll Spirit You Away
Get ready for an evening of magic, wonder, and nostalgia!
The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) is hosting a special concert to celebrate the enchanting worlds of Studio Ghibli!
The concert is scheduled to take place this upcoming 16 November, under the expert baton of conductor Gerard Salonga.
It is set to feature the melodies to some of the most recognised and cherished scores of Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi from the animation studio's films.
Unforgettable tunes from classics such as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbour Totoro, and Kiki's Delivery Service will be given well-deserved, orchestral interpretations by the talented musicians of the local orchestra.
Tickets will go on sale to MPO subscribers at 12pm on 24 September
Meanwhile, tickets will go on sale to the public at 12pm on 26 September.
Ticket prices range from RM198 to RM448.
