This October, the fantastical world of Studio Ghibli, known for its breathtakingly beautiful animations and heartwarming stories, is coming to life in Singapore

'The World of Studio Ghibli' exhibition is set to open its doors to the public at the ArtScience Museum on 4 October.

Organised in collaboration with Studio Ghibli, this exhibition offers an immersive journey through 11 beloved films, including classics like My Neighbour Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Spirited AwayHowl's Moving Castle, as well as the studio's latest release, The Boy and The Heron.

The exhibition will feature 16 large-scale theatrical sets that recreate iconic movie scenes — whether it's waiting in the rain with Totoro, riding the train with No-Face, or greeting Yubaba in her office

You'll also be able to explore a variety of interactive box art pieces and trick-eye installations

From the laboratory of Kokiri the witch from Kiki's Delivery Service, to a close-up of the letter Satsuki wrote to her mother about meeting Totoro, you'll get to see all the intricate details from your favourite Ghibli movie up close.

You will also be able to make a stop at the retail shop at the end of the exhibition, where official Studio Ghibli merchandise and souvenirs designed exclusively for this presentation at the ArtScience Museum will be on sale.

'The World of Studio Ghibli' was first presented in Japan in 2013 before travelling to South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and most recently, Bangkok.
