Video creator Vain Liew has been making waves on the Internet after travelling around Malaysia with a dynamic prank using a particularly popular fruit

In a clip that has been circulating on TikTok, Liew filmed himself purchasing items at different convenience stores and eateries, which included the likes of 7-Eleven, ZUS Coffee, Texas Chicken, and FamilyMart.

After asking the cashiers if he could pay for his items using ApplePay, Liew proceeded to pull out a literal apple and wave it over the card scanners. To the workers' surprise, the fruit actually scanned successfully for Liew to make his payments.

Amused by the moment, each cashier expressed their confusion over how the apple managed to cover the cost of Liew's purchases, before he explained that he used 'ApplePay'.

Sharing some laughs, many cashiers were thoroughly entertained by Liew's trick. One girl even asked her colleagues how Liew managed to do that, to which another girl playfully called him a bomoh.

In the caption of his post, Liew shared that this was indeed a 'magic prank', intentionally done and recorded as a light-hearted moment.

Garnering chuckles and praise for the video, Liew's TikTok has since received over three million views and over 300,000 likes

One TikTok user asked Liew to try doing the prank to male cashiers next.

"Hahaha try and use this payment at my stall, brother!" enthusiastically said another user.

However, there were also a slew of people who praised Liew for putting a smile on everyone's faces, saying that the prank was not meant to make fun of anyone.

"Whether people realised if the workers were moody or unhappy, they were probably happy and excited when they saw this prank happen," wrote one person.

However, a plethora of people were very confused over how Liew managed to pull off the prank

"This is genius, my brain is still jammed until now," joked one user.

Offering up their own takes as to how Liew managed to pay for his items at the cashier, some said that he may have slipped his card in between the apple, or even held it the entire time.

"He's holding the card in his hands. After paying, he kept it back," opined one user.
