Doctor Who Dreamed Of Driving An Ambulance Now Holds 10 JPJ Licences
"They said I could be anything, so I collected every licence class JPJ has to offer," he said.
A doctor based in Kuala Lumpur has taken his passion for driving to the next level, amassing an impressive 10 different driving licences from the Road Transport Department (JPJ)
Sharing his story on Instagram, Dr Leong Keen Wai revealed that he can drive almost anything — from motorcycles and trucks to buses, tractors, and trailers.
"They said I could be anything, so I collected every licence class JPJ has to offer," the emergency medicine specialist quipped.

Dr Leong said it all started with his dream of driving an ambulance to respond to emergencies
That ambition soon expanded to driving the hospital's lorry to transport equipment for disaster relief missions, such as floods and landslides.
"Then, things got out of hand, and I just kept collecting licences," he said.
Speaking to SAYS, Dr Leong shared that he only began collecting driving licences in 2022, and has since spent around RM10,000 to obtain them.
Despite his passion, Dr Leong revealed that he hasn't driven an ambulance in real emergencies, as hospitals require him to focus on treating patients. Instead, he only gets behind the wheel during medical training sessions.
According to the post, Dr Leong currently holds these driving licences:
Class B – Big motorcycles
Class C – Three-wheeled pasar malam motorcycles
Class D – Manual cars
Class E – Large lorries and dump trucks
Class H – Tractors, forklifts, and any heavy machinery with wheels
Class I – Excavators and tracked machinery
Public Service Vehicle Class D – Ambulances, shuttles, e-hailing cars, taxis, passenger vans, and limousines
Public Service Vehicle Class E – Buses
Goods Driving Licence Class E (Fixed-axle lorries) – Hearses
Goods Driving Licence Class E (Articulated-axle lorries) – Trailers

And he's not stopping there.
Dr Leong hopes to add even more licences to his collection, including ones to operate tower cranes, crawler cranes, skylifts, B-double trucks (road trains), and maybe even helicopters.
"Boys never grow up; their toys just get bigger," he said, despite admitting that he's not particularly interested in flying fixed-wing aircraft.
He also clarified that not every licence is applicable for him to obtain, such as Class A (for persons with disabilities), Class F and G (subclasses of heavy machinery licences), and bus conductor licences, which are now obsolete.
Dr Leong shared that his ultimate dream is to one day drive a massive Caterpillar 797 haul truck, start a rapid response Emergency Superbike Squad at his hospital, and — if possible — get in the driver's seat of an army tank.
His post has since gained close to 20,000 likes, with impressed Malaysians leaving many amusing comments about his unconventional hobby
