[VIDEO] TikToker In Singapore Sends People Into Frenzy By Hiding Money In Public Places

Recently, a man posted a couple of TikToks, claiming that he hid SGD2,000 at a couple of public transport places in Singapore
According to the TikTok user @seathebreezee, he hid SGD1,000 at the back of an MRT station and another SGD1,000 beside a bus interchange in the city-state.
In ringgit, the amount he hid comes up to RM6,193.
In the first TikTok that was posted on Sunday, 20 June, the man is seen holding a bundle of SGD50 notes. He hides it behind some bushes and says that he will come back in three days to see if anybody finds it.
Two days later, @seathebreezee posted the second TikTok at the Tampines bus interchange, after a user on his first TikTok asked him, "Bro, can do another one in another place?"
He is seen doing the same in the second TikTok. He hides the bundle of SGD50 under some bushes and says that he will come back in three days to see if anybody finds it.
The TikToker also asks viewers to duet or stitch the TikTok if they find the money.
As promised in his first TikTok, the man comes back to the location, which has since been identified as Pasir Ris MRT station
He shows that hat someone has found the SGD1,000 he had hidden there and left behind SGD2.
The TikToker is seen picking up the single note and wishing whoever found the money to "enjoy".
There has been no update on his second TikTok as of this writing.
While his first TikTok has almost a million views, his other two TikToks have collectively garnered over 800,00 views and thousands of comments from his followers and netizens.
On Tuesday, 22 June, as the TikToks went viral, Shin Min Daily News reported that the videos have prompted a sort of "treasure hunt"
According to the afternoon newspaper, over half a dozen people had gathered in the area looking for the money, with some even spending three hours searching in vain.
In the photos shared by the Chinese newspaper on its Facebook page, a number of people can be seen squatting by the grass and holding a light to search between the bushes.

The people who had to return disappointed left comments under the TikToker's videos, accusing him of playing a prank for 'likes'
"Sounds like cap to me," commented a netizen, using the slang for lying.
It is not yet clear whether or not the TikToker had indeed hidden the money at the locations.
