A video of a young boy sobbing uncontrollably at his brother's wedding has touched thousands of hearts on TikTok

The heartwarming video, shared by their brother-in-law, said the boy suddenly broke into tears because he will no longer be living with his favourite sibling in the same household anymore.

In the 45-second video, the groom can be seen approaching from the front table to console his younger brother.

"For 14 years, they slept in the same room together, but now his brother is building a new life with his partner. [He's crying] even though his brother is going to live in a house nearby.

"Honestly, I couldn't help but shed a tear too when I saw my youngest brother-in-law cry like that," wrote Che Mat Solar in the video that has garnered over 1.8 million views on TikTok.

14-year-old Ryan Nur Arief Abdullah admitted that he could not control his emotions after greeting his older brother and his bride on the wedding dais

In an interview with Harian Metro, Ryan introduced himself as the youngest of five children, and the closest to his third brother and roommate, 21-year-old Muhammad Fariez Aiman.

"It's not that I don't like Aish getting married. I'm happy that he is married and I pray for his happiness always, but as a younger brother, I'm just sad because I feel like I'm losing a childhood best friend," Ryan confessed.

"Aish has always treated me well and he will always buy me food whenever he gets his salary. We always fight, but our relationship is good. That's what makes me sad, I guess, because after this, he's going to move out and stay with his wife," he said.

He added that he was initially embarrassed that the TikTok video of him crying went viral, but came to terms with it because he was only expressing his feelings as a younger brother who loves his older sibling.
