A 60-year-old AirAsia cabin crew's youthful looks has been stealing the limelight from his recent retirement from the airline

In a video posted on TikTok, the airline recently shared that flight attendant Nordin Razali, who just turned 60 this year, has been working as a cabin crew for 35 years and was one of their very first cabin crew members.

The heartwarming video shows the airline staff throwing a surprise retirement party for the long-time employee, who looks not a day over 40, while a voiceover plays his parting words during his last flight to Kuching.

"Today marks a special day for me, it marks my final flight after so many wonderful years of flying. It's been 35 years, and I've loved every moment I've spent in the skies," said Nordin in his last announcement.

"The last 35 years have been truly magical. It's been an honour and joy to serve as your crew in charge," he added, thanking everyone for making his career as fulfilling as it was.

As a testimony to his tenure, even AirAsia's founder and CEO Tan Sri Tony Fernandes also gave Nordin a shoutout on social media

"Nordin Razali, the first crew who is still flying at 60. He looks so young! Congrats to you and thank you for all your hard work," wrote Fernandes on Instagram.

As a token of appreciation, he also gave Nordin two tickets to Jeddah as a retirement gift.

Meanwhile, on TikTok, while most were also wishing Nordin a happy retirement, some can't help but express awe at his youthful looks

"60?! He looks so young, like in his 40s," said a netizen.

"Maybe we all need to work in AirAsia until we're 60 to stay young," joked another.

Another TikTok user said, "It means he's happy with what he is doing. Manifesting to say and do that for myself!"
