Starting 16 November, AirAsia will operate three weekly flights to the idyllic island destination, making it the only airline in ASEAN offering international flights to Port Blair. This marks AirAsia's shortest Indian route and the 17th destination in India added to its extensive network.

With the addition of Port Blair, AirAsia now flies to numerous Indian cities, including Chennai and Amritsar, with a total of 91 weekly flights. Impressively, 2024 alone saw the launch of eight new routes, including Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, and Kozhikode.

Nestled among the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Bay of Bengal, Port Blair has long remained a bucket list destination thanks to its pristine waters and marine life

Now, Malaysians can experience the beauty of this popular beach getaway firsthand, thanks to AirAsia's direct flights.

Whether you're exploring the island's historical landmarks or kayaking through crystal-clear waters, there's an adventure waiting for everyone. The stretch of islands in the Andamans is also home to ancient tribal communities.

To celebrate the launch of this new route, AirAsia is offering promotional fares from Kuala Lumpur to Port Blair starting at just RM199 all-in* one way
