"She's Like A Heavenly Angel To Me" — Man Marries M'sian Woman Born Without Hands
The couple was married last Monday, 24 July, after being engaged for over a year.
A Malaysian woman born without hands recently married her fiancé after being engaged for a year
35-year-old Norfarrah Syahirah Shaari is a huge inspiration for many Malaysians.
In the past few years, she has grabbed national attention for her ability to drive a car with just her legs and sewing personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontliners during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
She is often invited to educational institutions as a motivational and inspirational guest speaker.
Last Monday, 24 July, Norfarrah finally married her fiancé, 33-year-old Zulfadli Syahrul, at Masjid Al-Maaruf Parit 5 in Hutan Melintang, Perak, reported Utusan Malaysia.
The couple wore matching blue baju kurung and baju melayu and were seated at a white-themed pelamin (bridal dais).

Speaking about her marriage, Norfarrah said she is happy that Zulfadli accepts her for who she is despite her physical limitations
"Being born without hands since birth, at first, I wasn't sure whether he could accept me," said Norfarrah, who works as an administrative assistant at Kolej Komuniti Teluk Intan.
"However, he continued to be friends with me. We were friends for almost a year. Last year, he came to my home to ask for my hand.
"I was very moved and started crying when (I knew) he accepts my shortcomings," she added.

Meanwhile, Zulfadli, who works in Kuala Lumpur, said the relationship between them began when he dropped her a text on Facebook and Instagram
"It was only before Hari Raya Aidiladha last year that she replied to my message, and since then, we got to know each other and got engaged July last year.
"I never thought about her shortcomings. As ordinary people, we also have shortcomings, and for me, everyone in this world is the same," he told Utusan Malaysia.
Zulfadli said that he considered meeting Norfarrah as the most beautiful gift in his life.
"I am grateful that my dream of marrying my wife came true, and I accept her because I am aware that I am not perfect either.
"Norfarrah Syahirah is like a heavenly angel to me," Harian Metro quoted him as saying.
