Meet Humana, the quirky and vibrant character created by Malaysian artist Vanissa Foo.
Her latest artwork has transformed TRX into a lively, eye-catching backdrop that invites people to stop, snap some photos, and take in a moment of joy.

Vanissa spent about one to two weeks bringing Humana to life, filling the space with playful details that reflect Malaysia's bustling market scene
"My favourite part of this project was having the creative freedom to design the backdrop. I really enjoyed exploring the theme of a market lane, incorporating desserts, cafe, fashion, and cat elements," the graphic designer and illustrator shared with SAYS.

As for the unique name?
"The name Humana is actually simple and somewhat random. You can pronounce it as 'Human-ah' or 'Human-nah', with a touch of local Malaysian slang. Humana is a character of my own creation, allowing me to freely explore the creative fantasies in my mind," she explained.

So, what does Vanissa hope people will feel when they see her work? Happiness.
In the middle of our busy routines, we sometimes forget to slow down and appreciate the little things.
Vanissa wants people to pause, take in the vibrant colours, and leave with a smile — even if it's just for a moment.
