Speaking to SAYS, Azhar Zakeriah said it took him 12 days in total to edit the video.
We are familiar with Hollywood movies and games with zombies swarming their cities.
But have we ever seen our capital city, Kuala Lumpur, abandoned, with only zombies lurking around looking for brains?

Well, this Malaysian visual effects (VFX) artist shows us exactly how KL would look like after we forsook the zombie-infected city
Created by Azhar Zakeriah and posted on his TikTok account @harzachvfx this week, the 16-second video shows the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) and Bukit Bintang in the post-apocalyptic world.
"The Last Of Us, Kuala Lumpur. Chapter One," read the text appearing at the beginning of the video.
Our Petronas Twin Tower is seen covered with wild plants and the road leading to the mall is cordoned off with concrete barriers.
The area in front of Pavilion KL is also teeming with greenery, and the walls of the buildings are defaced by rain stains.
A zombie can be seen loitering in delirium behind a bush.

Many netizens were impressed by Azhar's VFX work and had immersed themselves momentarily in the post-apocalyptic world.
"I don't know why I love an environment like this. I want to enter a world like this," wrote a TikTok user.
"I thought it was real. I swear it's so epic!" exclaimed a person, while another added, "I wish I was here fighting all the zombies."

Speaking to SAYS, Azhar said he is a full-time VFX artist and 3D animator who has worked on documentaries, telemovies, films, and more
When asked how long he took to edit the video, the 42-year-old said he spent four days to edit each of the three shots.
"I primarily use Adobe After Effects for visual effects. I utilise the content-aware tool to remove people from the footage, and for difficult shots, I will motion track and remove them using Photoshop then export them back to After Effects," said the VFX expert.
"And for 3D compositions, such as zombies, grass, trees, and the ground, I use Blender 3D software, Unreal Engine, and Quixel Megascan."
Azhar has over 12 years of experience in creating visual effects. His previous works include TV3's Ular Emas, Hantu Air, RMT's Pelamin Di Pusara, and Astro's MaaVeeran, among others.
"I'm thrilled that my TikTok video of KL with zombies lurking around went viral. It's exciting to see people enjoy my work and it motivates me to keep creating," he rejoiced.
