Singapore's Glam Circuit Festival 2024 Goes Green With Renewable Energy
Harnessing sustainable energy for a greener future in entertainment.
Renewable energy comes from natural sources that can be replenished, like sunlight, wind, and water
Unlike fossil fuels — like coal or oil — which can run out, renewable energy is sustainable and cleaner for the environment. With the thousands of festivals and celebrations happening all around the world, why not power them with renewable energy?
Prominent international figures, such as the British band Coldplay, have been powering their famous concerts with renewable energy to great success. Singapore is taking a step in the right direction with the Glam Circuit Festival 2024 in conjunction with the upcoming Formula 1 Singapore GP race weekend.

The collaboration between organisers One Kampong Gelam and Gorental.SG has been playing a pivotal role in powering the Glam Circuit Festival 2024, with more than 50% of the festival being powered by green energy with no diesel or petrol generator sets in sight.

Each of its battery generators is powered by solar energy, effectively reducing the overall carbon footprint. What's impressive about these battery generators is that they can last longer than required and never need any maintenance throughout the day.
These silent generators are a boon as they do not create noise or air pollution, making these festivals clean, peaceful, and approachable to the members of the public.

During our visit to the Glam Circuit Festival 2024 in Singapore, we had the opportunity to witness firsthand the vast array of Gorental.SG's products.
We discovered that Gorental.SG's EcoFlow Delta Pro powers various items at the vendors' booths, ranging from table fans and smartphone chargers to advanced point-of-sales terminals. Some vendors were even sharing a single Delta Pro unit to power their devices. According to the company, an EcoFlow Delta Pro can provide the vendors with enough energy to power through the day with hours of battery left to spare.
Once the day ends, the battery generators are brought back to the Gorental.SG's main office in Tampines and recharged with solar energy to be redeployed the next day.Aside from powering mission-critical devices during the festival, Gorental.SG also offers battery generators for everyday devices

Gorental.SG told SAYS that aside from high-powered units, the company also provides smaller, more portable battery generators under the River series of products. These products can power tabletop devices such as smartphones and laptops for several days.
Charging these battery generators is actually a simple process: all you need to do is plug in the supplied power adapter to a wall socket and the battery generator will charge to almost full capacity in about an hour. The battery generator can also be set to charge at a slower pace if lower-powered sockets are used.
It can also be charged on-the-go with a solar panel array, which can be bought separately.

What impressed us the most was the massive arch gracing the main entrance of the festival, which was powered by a portable battery generator

We could hardly believe it when Gorental.SG revealed that the three festival entrance arches were powered by an EcoFlow Delta Pro. Naturally, we had to see it for ourselves.

Lo and behold, this EcoFlow Delta Pro is clad in its outdoor protection set, shielding it from the elements such as rain and heat. The acrylic box is placed to protect itself from physical damage or tampering.
