7 Stores & Places In KL Selling Local Products That Make Good Last-Minute Gifts

1. Mano Plus GMBB @ Jalan Robertson

This lifestyle store, which first opened an outlet in Penang, has since opened two different stores in KL as well. They offer a variety of homegrown brands, including Bingka and Just Better, among others. 

You can find fragrances, candles, batik clothing, notebooks, trinket dishes, water bottles, bags, drinks, and lots of other fun goodies.

2. Ilaika Select Store @ Taman Paramount

This store in Petaling Jaya, which shares a space with One Half café, is a good place to get a special gift for anyone.

They offer everything from fragrances by Analogue Apotik to candles, bags, clothing, ceramic dishes, hair products, soaps, stationery, and even dried bouquets by small local businesses.

3. Snackfood @ Centrio Pantai Hillpark

Tucked away in an apartment complex in Bangsar, you'll find this little shop selling all kinds of happy trinkets that'll put a smile on your face.

They sell their own brand products, which include room sprays, whimsical scarves, adorable mushroom cups, and other quirky items. There are also other local brands in the store, such as .bungkus.

4. Mew Movement @ SS2, Petaling Jaya

Having recently opened their first physical store in SS2, this small business sells paintings, art prints, postcards, stickers, washi tapes, enamel pins, and other handmade items that are designed by its two founders. 

The store looks super cute too!

5. KEDAI KL

KEDAI KL often holds bazaars on weekends where small local businesses set up to sell their products and handmade creations.

Regardless, when there's no bazaar happening, there are local stores and cafés in the building on different floors, where you can shop and grab a dessert or coffee.

6. The Zhongshan Building @ Jalan Kampung Attap

The Zhongshan Building, which is just a 10-minute drive away from Petaling Street, has several cosy stores selling all kinds of artisanal products from local vendors. 

You'll find everything from quirky homeware and knitted items to local games, as well as health and beauty products. Local notebook company, ana tomy, also has a store here, and if you're into music, you can browse records at Tandang Record Store.  

There are also cafés for you to chill at while shopping.

7. The APOM! Store @ Bangsar Village & KLCC

A Piece of Malaysia, also known as The APOM! Store, has two outlets selling a variety of 'Malaysianised' products, including T-shirts, coasters, tote bags, mugs, keychains, stationery, socks, and other goodies that make fun gifts.

In addition, they sell clothing for kids and cute baby rompers.
