IKEA did put together a silly joke about meow-activated lights for April Fool's Day.

But it seems that they are offering free soft-serve ice cream tomorrow, 4 April to make up for the prank.

With the scorching weather these days, it's nice that IKEA is looking out for us.

The rules are simple: head to IKEA, drop by the Swedish Bistro, and let out three "meows".

You'll then be rewarded with a serving of IKEA's signature soft-serve ice cream, completely free of charge.

This freebie comes in conjunction with the launch of UTSÅDD, IKEA's new pet collection

From cosy beds to stylish accessories, you'll most likely find something that will spoil your pets rotten and seamlessly blend into your home décor.
