(i) Kontiki @ The Federal KL: Senior citizens pay RM68 instead of the RM108 adult rate from 12.30pm to 4pm on weekends. See here for more details.

3. Cinemas

(i) GSC Cinemas: Ticket prices are as low as RM11 for senior citizens at selected locations. The ticket prices are not applicable for special screenings, concerts, or live performances.

(ii) mmCineplex: Get movie tickets starting from RM9 for senior citizens aged 55 and above, but prices may differ depending on the location and movie title.

4. Karaoke rooms

(i) Loud Speaker Karaoke: Enjoy RM15 nett per pax before 5pm, but this promotion is not applicable on special public holidays and the eve of public holidays. Here are the terms and conditions.

(ii) Red Box Karaoke: Senior citizens can enjoy 30% off the room charges from Mondays to Thursdays between 11am and 6pm. More details here.

5. Batik Air's Golden Senior Fare

Malaysian citizens and Permanent Residents aged 60 and above are entitled to a 20% discount on base fares. It is only available at Batik Air sales outlets and the Airport Ticketing Office. Find out more here.

6. Public transportation

(i) MyRapid Concession Card for senior citizens: Malaysian senior citizens aged 60 and above will be able to enjoy a 50% fare discount on RapidKL Bus, BRT, LRT, Monorail, and MRT services. You can find out more about registration details here.

(ii) KTMB ETS Services: KTMB offers half-price tickets for all KTMB services to Malaysian senior citizens who have registered on the KTMB mobile app. On top of that, there's an extra RM5 discount for seniors on all ETS services, including business class seats, from July through December this year. (i) Subang Jaya Medical Centre's Super Seniors Club: Applicable to Malaysians and expats aged 60 and above with a permanent residence address in Malaysia. Members can enjoy health screenings, medication refills, and room discounts at Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care (RSDH) network of hospitals. Find out more here.

(ii) Sunway Medical Centre's Cherish Card: It is open to Malaysian citizens and Permanent Residents (PR) aged 60 and above. Read the terms and conditions here.

8. Skim Mesra Usia Emas (SMUE)

All Selangor senior citizens are entitled to receive a special RM150 shopping voucher. The eligibility criteria include:

— Being a Malaysian citizen
— 60 years old and above
— Currently living in Selangor or Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, or having resided in Selangor for at least 15 years (for those born in other states)
— Possesses a Selangor-based identity card
— Is a Selangor voter

9. Theme parks

(i) Sunway Lagoon: Ticket prices for senior citizens and children are the same; MyKad holders pay RM185 while international travellers pay RM288. More info here.

(ii) Berjaya Times Square Theme Park: The admission rate for senior citizens (aged 55 years old and above) for a MyKad holder and non-MyKad holder are RM22 and RM32, respectively. Find out more about the prices here.

(iii) Lost World of Tambun @ Ipoh, Perak: Ticket prices range from RM76 to RM120 for senior citizens. Here's the price breakdown.

(iv) Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park @ Genting Highlands, Pahang: Senior citizens and children pay the same price, ranging between RM128 and RM196. Find out more here.

10. Tourist attractions and museums

(i) PETRONAS Twin Towers: Admission tickets for those aged 61 and above are RM17 and RM50 for MyKad holders and non-holders, respectively. Click here for more information.

(ii) Petrosains @ Suria KLCC: Senior citizens and those below 13 years old have the same admission rate of RM10 during weekdays and RM12 during weekends, public holidays, and school holidays. More info here.

(iv) KL Bird Park: Senior citizens who are 60 years old and above and have a MyKad pay RM20, which is the same price for children. Find out more details here.

Penang Butterfly Farm

(vi) Penang Butterfly Farm: The discounted MyKad Special admission ticket rates are equivalent to RM47.20 per adult and RM31.20 per child or senior citizen. Read the terms and conditions here.

11. Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra

Senior citizens above 60 years old get to enjoy 15% off ticket prices when purchased at the Box Office counter. Discounts are not applicable for online booking.
