Air Selangor: Unscheduled Water Disruptions In KL After Burst Pipe

The water service provider is currently carrying out emergency repairs at the site.

Air Selangor has announced that several areas in Kuala Lumpur will face unscheduled water disruptions today, 8 October, due to a burst pipe at the Pasar Seni Hub

In a statement today, the water service provider announced that it is carrying out emergency repairs at the site, which are expected to be completed at 1am tonight, 9 October.

"Water supply is expected to be fully restored at 1pm on Wednesday.

"Water supply will be distributed to consumers in stages when the repair works are completed and the main water supply distribution system has been stabilised," it said.

The water disruption, which began at 6am, affects numerous residential and commercial areas, including Brickfields, Bukit Bandaraya, Bukit Damansara, Bukit Tunku, Damansara Heights, and the Kuala Lumpur city centre.

Air Selangor said it will mobilise water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, clinics, and dialysis centres
