Free Rides For Everyone On New MRT Putrajaya Line From Today Until 31 March
Phase two of the MRT Putrajaya Line officially opens to the public at 3pm today, 16 March.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced free rides on the new MRT Putrajaya Line starting at 3pm today, 16 March, until 31 March
According to New Straits Times, he said this during the launch of phase two of the MRT Putrajaya Line today.
Phase one of the MRT Putrajaya Line, which runs 17.5km and comprises 12 stations, was launched on 16 June last year.
There are currently 24 stations involved in phase two, spanning 40.2km from Kampung Batu to Putrajaya Sentral. There are 15 elevated stations and nine underground stations.
The free rides will involve all 36 stations from Kwasa Damansara to Putrajaya Sentral.

The entire Putrajaya Line spans 57.7km and takes an estimated 84 minutes to complete from one end to the other
The line also has interchange stations that connect to the Kelana Jaya LRT station, Kajang MRT station, and KL monorail.
