Food Delivery Rider In China Threatens To Poison Customer Who Gave Him A Poor Review

A food delivery rider in China has landed himself in hot water after allegedly threatening a customer who left him a negative review on a food delivery app
The incident came to light when the customer's friend, identified only as Li, shared a video on social media showing the food delivery rider yelling at the customer outside her residence, as reported by South China Morning Post.
In the video, the rider is alleged to have threatened the customer by saying that he would contaminate her food with rat poison the next time she placed an order.
This retaliation was purportedly in response to the poor review she had given him on the food delivery app.
The rider was also reported to be wielding a long stick while issuing the threats.

Li shared that the customer, whose identity remains undisclosed, gave the rider a poor review because he failed to deliver her food on time
Furthermore, when the rider eventually arrived, he left the food at the doorstep without notifying the customer.
Frustrated by the rider's actions, the customer retaliated by giving him a negative review.
Following the altercation, the customer reported the incident to the food delivery company.

The manager of the food delivery company has since issued an apology
According to South China Morning Post, the delivery rider was instructed to issue a formal apology to the woman.
It is understood that the manager also compensated the woman by replacing her door lock, which was reportedly damaged by the rider.
