IKEA Malaysia is recalling its HEROISK and TALRIKA series following reports that the items have been breaking and causing burns due to hot content

In a Facebook post today, 18 May, IKEA wrote that anyone who owns the series' plates, bowls, or mugs is urged to immediately stop using them and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
"Safety is a top priority for IKEA... All our products are tested and comply with applicable standards and legislation. Despite this, we have received reports of the products breaking. No known incidents have been reported in Malaysia."
You may return the items to any IKEA store at the Exchange and Returns counter and receive a full refund

The company added that proof of purchase is not required. Even if you only own some items from a set, you are encouraged to return them.
With the Movement Control Order (MCO) ongoing, the company replied in the comments that there is no deadline for the returns.
