Malaysians Can Now Travel From Singapore To Tebrau For Only RM5 On KTMB Starting 1 August
An estimated 40,000 Malaysian citizens use the train service to commute daily between Johor and Singapore.
You can soon enjoy RM5 one-way train fares both to and from JB Sentral to Woodlands, Singapore from 1 August
The current price for a ticket from JB Sentral to Woodlands is already RM5, while from Woodlands to JB Sentral, it costs SGD5 (RM17.80).
The new move, announced last Friday, 16 February, will set the price at RM5 both ways for Malaysian citizens.

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) announced tickets are already available for purchase at the new pricing for trips in August onwards.
Malaysian citizens need to create an account on KITS, the KTMB mobile app, to enjoy the RM5 fare
After registering on the app, users will have to verify their identity at a ticket kiosk or ticket counter.
To ensure smooth verification of identity cards, KTMB has opened additional counters at JB Sentral until 1 March.
Ticket payments on KITS can be made via KTM Wallet, Touch 'n Go eWallet, Boost, debit cards, and credit cards.
