Man In Red Kancil Blocks Road & Threatens Driver With Machete After Being Honked At
The victim claimed that the suspect slashed his four-wheel drive with his machete.
In a series of videos posted on Facebook, a man in Sibu, Sarawak, was seen threatening a driver on the road with a machete after he was honked at
The incident took place at Jalan Upper Lanang, Sibu, on Tuesday morning, 2 August, reported Utusan TV.
According to Sibu police chief ACP Zulkipli Suhaili, the victim, a 37-year-old, lodged a police report after the incident occurred at 10.09am.
The 27-year-old suspect was reportedly speeding in a red Perodua Kancil past the victim's car, which was captured in a video taken by a passenger in the four-wheel drive.
The suspect then stops at the side of the road and gets out of his car with a machete in his hand. The victim slowly backs away as the man starts approaching their vehicle.

Another video recording shows the red Kancil driving towards the victim and skidding to a halt in front of them.
As a result of the sudden halt, the victim is unable to stop in time and collides with the suspect.
The Borneo Post reported that the 37-year-old claimed that his car was slashed by the suspect with the weapon.

The suspect has since been arrested and his weapon was seized following a police report
Zulkipli said, "The 27-year-old suspect was remanded [yesterday, 3 August] at the Sibu Court to assist with the investigation."
The case is now being investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation and Section 427 of the Penal Code for damaging property.
