Here Are The 13 Most Flooded Areas In KL Including Jalan Pudu, Jalan Kuching & More
Heavy rains have hit KL since 8.30am this morning.
Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has announced that 13 areas in and around the city centre have been severely affected by flash floods after heavy rainfall since 8.30am today
The update comes from DBKL's Traffic Information and Traffic Light Control Centre (DBKL KLCCC) via social media.

According to the New Straits Times, the intense downpour, which resulted in over 60mm of rain in just an hour, led to rising water levels in Sungai Batu, Sungai Klang, and Sungai Gombak.
Readings from the Pusat Bandar weather station indicated more than 114mm of rainfall per hour during the storm.

Here are the 13 areas most badly affected by the flash floods:
- Jalan Pudu
- Salak Selatan
- Jalan Kuching
- Jalan Pantai Baru
- Jalan Genting Klang
- Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim
- Jalan Gombak
- Jalan Damansara
- Jalan Manjalara
- Jalan Maharajalela
- Jalan Wangsa Maju
- Sultan Iskandar Highway heading towards Jalan Tun Razak
According to the Pandan Indah Fire and Rescue Station, river water levels in Ukay Perdana have overflowed into residential areas, as reported by Malay Mail.
Meanwhile, the Smart Expressway has announced that the Smart Tunnel is closed while flood operations are underway.
"The SMART Tunnel is fully closed to traffic in preparation for flood operations," it posted on Facebook.
