M'sian Frustrated After Being Charged RM98 For A RM29 Meal At Middle Eastern Restaurant
She claimed that the cashier appeared surprised after he was caught charging her extra.
A Malaysian woman recently shared a video on social media about her experience being scammed by a popular Middle Eastern restaurant in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur
In the one-minute clip, the woman warns other Malaysians to be wary if they plan to dine at the restaurant in order to avoid being duped.
She then points her camera at the restaurant's cashier, claiming that he overcharged her for her meal and asked her to pay RM98 when it should have been RM29.

The woman also claims that the cashier appeared surprised after he was caught charging her extra
"If you see this cashier with a middle-part, M-shaped hair, and you're paying with a card, please be cautious and ask him to scan your card on the table.
"Because he scanned [my card] earlier and I noticed that he charged RM98 when it should have been RM29. And when we called him out, he looked like he was thinking, 'Oh no, kantoi,' and he paid us back in cash," the woman explained in the video.
She continues to advise the public, telling them to double-check the price of their meals and to request a receipt upon payment.
