A police officer recently caught the attention of netizens for his act of kindness

Photos of a uniformed officer putting a face mask on an elderly woman recently made their rounds on social media.

Popular Facebook page Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS uploaded the photos along with a caption that read, "An elderly woman forgot to wear her face mask, not on purpose but this makcik is rather forgetful. An officer put a free face mask on the makcik and advised her to always wear one while outside."

The photos are believed to have been taken at Pasar Awam Parit in Perak

In the pictures, the officer can be seen putting a face mask on the elderly makcik while she sits quietly in front of a fruit stall.

Netizens applauded the officer for his kind act and said that others should follow his example

One person commented, "Hope he will be a model for other police officers, having good manners is a noble practice."
