PJ Traffic Police Officer Caught On Video Allegedly Punching A Man In The Face
The officer has since denied the incident.
A video that has been circulating social media shows footage of a traffic police officer allegedly punching a civilian in the face
Petaling Jaya district police chief ACP Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal told Harian Metro that the video was taken nearby a police roadblock at KM28.3 of the Federal Highway around 8am to 9am today, 8 January.
He said that it involved seven officers from the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters.

Nik Ezanee explained that a married couple tried to evade the roadblock and accidentally ran over the foot of an officer on duty while trying to escape.
Another officer then managed to stop their motorcycle.
He added that the motorcyclist was issued a summon for not using the designated motorcycle lane, being unable to produce a valid license, as well as for not having a valid road tax.
Checks also fond that he has 58 pending summons on various traffic offences, Harian Metro reported.
Following the viral video, the officer involved has been identified and he has made a report denying the incident.
However, he is still under investigation for criminal and disciplinary violations.
According to The Star, the civilian has yet to come forward to file a report.
Nik Ezanee said, "Our stand has been consistent, that any wrongdoing will be investigated carefully and action will be taken swiftly, according to the forces' rules and regulations, and the law."
In the video, an officer can be seen swinging his arm at the motorcyclist while another officer points a red flag while talking to the man.
